Presenting – Tim began on Tarka Radio (North Devon District Hospital) and Acorn FM (North Devon College) before progressing from his voluntary presenting. He presented his own weekend shows on Lantern FM (G-CAP Network) for two years, and now operates as a swing-jock for both Lantern FM and other G-CAP stations. Tim also presented Weekend Breakfast on SBN, and worked for BBC Radio Five Live during their election coverage.

News - Tim is currently working as a Broadcast Journalist for Exeter and East Devon's Gemini FM. His duties include news gathering, interviewing, editing audio, writing cues and copy. Tim also reads news bulletins and reports on the station. The role also includes producing news output for Plymouth Sound, Lantern FM, Orchard FM and South Hams Radio.

Producing – Tim is a former director of Round One Productions, an independent production company. His role involved him producing shows and jingles packages for stations across the UK. As part of the BA Media Studies course which Tim studied at Westminster University, he created multiple short features. He's also a former Head of Production on Smoke Radio, where he was part of the team which won the bronze for marketing and station sound at the Student Radio Awards 2006.

Sports – Tim has provided coverage of Exeter City games for the official club website (where he is former webmaster), and has also given live match updates for Compass FM in Grimsby and Lantern FM in Devon. As part of his role at Gemini FM, Tim interviews managers and players from Exeter City FC and Exeter Chiefs each week. He also presented "Sport on Smoke" on Smoke Radio.

Other - Tim has a degree in "BA (hons) Media Studies: Radio Production" with first class honours. He's also one of the founder members of Smoke Radio - now the second best student station in the whole country (SRAs 2007).

Tim is competent using the following radio software: Selector, Cool Edit, Adobe Audition, RCS, Burli, Maestro, Brian, Glam, Glog, News Matrix, and SaDie.
